Morse Duomatic Knitting Machine

It's not really gold, but wouldn't it be pretty if it was? The above picture was from the eBay listing page. It does have a tension mast too and automatically feeds the yarn into the latches. This baby knits really well too, she's an oldie but a definite goodie :) The vintage pattern book is awesome too. As soon as I figure out a good way to scan it without damaging the binding, I'll have to share it.

Pretty cool huh. I imagine if anything does break it will be difficult to get it fixed, but it's sure built sturdy so I don't see that as much of a problem.

Just inherited one of these knitting machines but don't have instructions or patterns .. just the machine. Would be willing to purchase a copy of the instructions from you if you can have it copied. My email is lainey1423@gmail.com. Thanks so much.

Hello Clarisse,

I just got a "Morse" knitting machine bed and am looking for a carriage. You are only one of two people on the Internet who have one. I make 2 1/2. Do you have any sources?

Thanks,

Marian

Clarisse, do you still have this machine? I'm trying to locate a manual and your post is the only one I can find online
